Position Summary:

Position is responsible for the successful coordination and delivery of MBA Education's suite of live, instructor-led course offerings. Under regular supervision, the position facilitates the delivery of various MBA Education trainings (in-person and virtual classroom, instructor-guided online courses, webinars, workshops). Position serves as the main point of contact to coordinate communication with instructors, subject matter experts, onsite operations staff, and students during course duration.

  • Organizes the end-to-end coordination of MBA Education's suite of live in-person and instructor-led training offerings which includes webinars, instructor-guided online courses, in-person classroom courses, and workshop events. Acts as main point-of-contact for students, instructors, third-party vendors, and on-site staff for all course offerings. Works with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing and messaging of event promotions is timely and accurate.
  • Provides on-site support for in-person offerings and ensures highest levels of student experience is met. Supports instructors with the delivery and facilitation of group exercises and activities as needed. Acts as main point-of-contact for students, instructors, third-party vendors, and on-site staff for all course offerings.
  • Coordinates and prepares all logistical information for assigned training (logistic emails, course overview documents, intro slides, Learning Management System (Top Class) set up). Maintains instructor/speaker relationships, conducting necessary conference calls or training to ensure trainers are prepared, understand MBA's technology, and is aware of client and/or content expectations.
  • Works with Education Content Team to ensure course content and materials are updated and instructors are working from the most recent content. Collaborate with Team to monitor satisfaction surveys and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Ensures the timely collection of all course related expenses, including, but not limited to, instructor fees, instructor expenses, course materials, catering, and MBA staff expenses.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain insight on industry topics for potential programming and recruiting of qualified professionals for content or teaching opportunities.

Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of prior relevant training, education, and/or event management experience with customer account service and administrative support managing multiple concurrent events and programs. Prior knowledge or experience working with an Association Management System (Aptify) and Learning Management System (WBT/Top Class) and Zoom is strongly preferred. Prior trade association, learning and development experience, and willingness to learn mortgage banking concepts is a plus.

  • Ability to manage workload independently, be a self-starter, be self-sufficient, be resourceful, and to deliver programs with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of proficiency during remote work and traveling.
  • Exercise flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly between competing projects and priorities.
  • Remain open to process and programming changes
  • Be eager to take on new projects and think creatively to ensure programs meet MBA's member needs.
