Job Description

Graphic Designer

In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing captivating campaigns for the Web Content Management Systems (WMCS) program for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ensuring their seamless project campaign execution. Your focus will be on creating visually stunning and 508 Compliant digital designs, as well as driving the success of our web, SharePoint, and print media projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Project Oversight:

  • Cultivate strong client relationships by participating in weekly meetings to discuss campaign strategies and prioritize content delivery.
  • Develop a comprehensive graphic design approach that can be consistently applied to various digital and print media.

Graphic Design Excellence:

  • Craft 508 Compliant digital designs that utilize typography, visual arts, and page layout techniques to produce exceptional final products.
  • Create content for blogs and newsletters, ensuring it is engaging, visually appealing, and effectively measures its impact.

Content Quality Assurance:

  • Expertly edit all customer-provided content, encompassing blogs, intranet/internet, special projects, reports, SOPs, and more.

Reporting and Project Management:

  • Deliver a monthly report summarizing project design achievements, pending assignments, and the overall project status.

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in multimedia content creation including video, motion graphics, PowerPoint, and others using Microsoft and Adobe suite of products.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
