What you'll be doing...

Our digital team is seeking a Digital Marketing Senior Manager to support digital experiences across Verizon Business Group's seven international web sites (4 English sites + 3 in-language sites). This individual will help create visitor web experiences that tie seamlessly with organic search, paid media, demand gen and social campaigns; and drive quality visitor traffic and site conversions. The candidate will interface with key contacts across the business such as product marketing, CMO, integrated marketing, field marketing, creative, legal - providing web expertise and guidance related to CX and optimizations.

  • Manage breadth of digital experience initiatives (for all 7 sites), requiring digital strategy development and execution, project management of content delivery, customer journeys, and quality control.

  • Focus on SEO, conversion optimization, streamlining our story/messaging and implementing logical and concise navigation. Encourage monthly reporting of SEO trends by market, and reporting on-site health goals.

  • Collaborate and correspond with technical team member/lead author on a daily basis on current workload along with future projects. Collect/assemble all project assets and instructions and open/manage JIRA tickets for the tech lead.

  • Interface with CMO and external agencies that help to support the web site projects/initiatives, and SEO for seamless execution and on-time delivery.

  • Improve online digital efficiency by optimizing all page experiences (for 7 sites) for paid media, email, social, and thought leadership campaigns, to generate visitor engagement and conversions.

  • Fulfill all BAU page updates, refreshes, and redesigns. Regularly interface with the U.S. Digital Marketing team who supports US Enterprise, to learn about product launches, new pages, etc. that may need to be mirrored in the international environment.

  • Foster collaboration among internal and external teams for flawless execution and on-time delivery by organizing, maintaining and directing weekly status calls with key teams: EMEA, APAC, SEO, CMO, field marketing; that includes an agenda covering strategic initiatives and project status. Also, represent the digital team on other calls hosted by key stakeholders.

  • Produce weekly project read-outs (via email) to key stakeholders, team members, and interested parties. Include details about what was accomplished on that given week and what's in progress.

  • Confirm translation requirements for all assigned projects for German, France, and Japan markets, and manage the translation workload/priorities with agency and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate tracking and reporting of monthly analytics (KPIs) to field marketing and other key stakeholders. Manage ad hoc requests for key projects, including thought leadership campaigns, opt-ins, and asset tracking. Use and manage heat map tools (like Contentsquare) to support digital results and help drive strategic change and updates on any given page.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant digital marketing experience for international markets.

  • Knowledge of creative and technical development processes involved in producing web content.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Content Management System (CMS) tools (like Adobe Experience Manager or Contentstack).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with Google Suite: Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Forms.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans and results reporting.

  • Project management, prioritization and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to analyze site results/KPIs and properly communicate and summarize details to stakeholders.

  • High energy, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently.

  • Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships with peers/team, key stakeholders, and management.

  • Proven experience in implementing and delivering value through digital content.

  • Adobe Analytics experience.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms, Marketo, and Salesforce.

  • Experience with JIRA.

  • SEO knowledge and experience.
