Java Architect (Must have AWS deployment experience)

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Java Architect.

Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to create new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy.We take an Experience centered approachwhich uses human insights to take ideas from vision to outcome and building end to end experience led solutions that enables brands to transform their customer and employee experiences using design, marketing, and commerce capabilities.

Location: McLean, VA (candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance to McLean- no remote work or relocation is feasible for this position)

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

* Analyze the Business Requirements.

* Design and develop the components.

* Develop reusable components.

* Understand the legacy application.

* Design the solution approach for App modernization.

* Closely work with App team for delivering the solution.

Key Qualifications:

* 13 + years of Core Java development experience, familiar with Java 7 or higher.

* Architect level experience with java development and aware of java patterns.

* 10+ years experience with Microservices, Spring Boot uses for development.

* Architect level experience of development project and developed functionalities using java, j2ee.

* 8+ years AWS services experience (S3, SQS, SNS,ECS, Lambda, AWS Cloud watch etc.)

* Must have xperience on AWS deployed application.

* Fair understanding of CI/CD process and experience with pipelines etc.

* Experience on Oracle or Postgres or DynamoDB to perform SQL.

* Agile/scrum development experience.

* Good collaboration and communication skills.
