Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts,has a position available for ahybrid Senior Project Manager in ourDigital Solutions (DS)Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) group.This role reports directly to an Intralox Business Relationship Manager (BRM) and will sit in Baltimore, MD. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of projects related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications and associated engineering systems implementation including Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closure.

The Project Manager would work in a key project team leadership role and will have responsibility and accountability for the successful execution and outcome of our key strategic engineering systems /PLM related projects. This role will manage and track all tasks and deliverables throughout the project life cycle, working closely with our IT/DS team, business sponsors, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will also provide project team leadership and guidance to the core project team.
This is a pivotal continuous improvement role in our organization to help our company leverage the power of our engineering systems and to ensure we are leveraging the full power of our PTC Windchill system through critical projects. The Project Manager is expected to learn and understand our current operations, processes, and future continuous improvement opportunities in order to achieve project success by delivering business value.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to clarify, sequence, and provide strategic vision for key business initiatives/projects on our Digital Solutions Roadmap
  • Initiate, plan, and execute PLM/engineering systems and/or related application projects
  • Define project scope, goals, phases, and milestones
  • Create and manage project documentation including Project Charter, RACI, Project Plan and Schedule, Project Status reports, Issues and Risk Log, Testing Cycles, Training, etc.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues
  • Define project tasks, deliverables, and project resources
  • On-Board and manage project team members
  • Manage Stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Manage project budget as applicable
  • Create and manage the project WBS
  • Create and own the detailed project schedule and project timeline
  • Ensure timely and quality completion of all engineering project tasks and deliverables
  • Lead, support, guide, motivate, and direct the PLM/Engineering project core team
  • Manage project change orders through change control process
  • Lead quality assurance on the project
  • Monitor the status of the project on a continual bases and report progress to the team and stakeholders
  • Complete, lead and/or manage key project milestones/tasks such as:
    • Project Requirements gathering workshops
    • Fit-Gap analysis sessions (with BAs)
    • To-Be Process Flow development
    • Proof of Concepts (POC) and Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions
    • Functional and technical specification development
    • Tests cycles, including unit testing, string testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Manage User Training sessions
    • Cutover planning sessions and cutover tasks
    • Transition project to long term delivery and support, including Knowledge Transfer
    • Project Close
  • Run Sprint Stand-Up Status meetings and weekly Team meetings
  • Act as 'Demand Manager' for continuous improvement development efforts and build deployments

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Science.
  • Proven IT Project Management track record with minimum of 8 years in technology and project management (PM) roles
  • 5 years of experience managing CAD, PDM, PLM (PTC Windchill preferred) Implementation/ Continuous Improvement projects using established implementation methodologies
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Proven knowledge and skillset in PTC Windchill applications/modules (preferred) or similar PDM or PLM applications
  • Experience and expertise in SDLC waterfall phases/implementation concepts and Agile approach
  • Principled thinking with eye towards simplification and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with IT/DS and business team members
  • Strong management and leadership capability
  • Experience working with business systems consultants/staff augmentation providers
  • Experience leading diverse teams, including members from global business departments and vendors
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in MS Project, Smartsheet / Project Management Software
  • PMP (PMI) or certified Scrum Master certification preferred;
  • Preferred local to DC/Baltimore area for hybrid remote/office working
