Job Summary

To index, QC, and analyze image metadata and generate corresponding reporting.

Primary Duties

  • Ensure all digital images pass quality checks before outputting the batch.
  • Simultaneously view the index data and the incoming document. Evaluate each mail piece according to the existing "Mail and Correspondence Routing Guide". Add additional data needed to route the mail to the correct destination.
  • Generate, output and print reports as required.
  • Send mail pieces to the designated destination and review mail pieces returned for reassignment to determine the correct destination.
  • Review requests for rescan or paper delivery each morning.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Sort and organize the mail pieces into batches.
  • Utilize encoded batch and documented separator sheets to mark the beginning of the batch and each new document.
  • Scan the physical mail pieces.
  • Monitor and resolve issues such as multi-page feeds, paper jams and issues.
  • Notify appropriate personnel when materials or maintenance on machines is needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High-level computer proficiency and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good writing ability with proficiency in verbal communication skills.
