We are actively seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) who has extensive experience in cloud environments (Azure and AWS). The ideal candidate will have experience managing the databases supporting PeopleSoft ERP or similar technologies and will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Oracle databases, ensuring seamless integration with PeopleSoft and other business platforms. Ability to work remotely from the following locations: CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, LA, MD, NC, OR, RI, SC, VA, WV.

Salary Range: $155,000 - $165,000

Travel up to 10%

You Will:

  • Manage, administer, and optimize Oracle databases, primarily supporting PeopleSoft applications.
  • Implement database security best practices, backups, and recovery strategies.
  • Provide database support and optimization for applications, modules, and custom solutions.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand database requirements and ensure alignment with PeopleSoft and other applications.
  • Administer Oracle databases in AWS cloud environments.
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable database solutions in the cloud.
  • Design, implement, and manage ETL processes for data integration between PeopleSoft, Oracle databases, and other systems.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases to ensure optimal functionality and responsiveness.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively address performance issues.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for database configurations, ETL processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure the broader team is proficient in managing Oracle databases and ETL processes.

You Have:

  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must possess and maintain at least a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Security+ Certificate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with hands-on experience in AWS environments and supporting business applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration, Azure and AWS data services, and cloud database best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA with ERP, Azure, AWS, and ETL experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing Oracle databases in cloud environments.
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead DBA role.
