Position Description

The Logistics Associate will pick, pack and ship orders based on shipping schedules. This will include handling temperature sensitive materials.

This position is located in Germantown, MD.

The working hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm. Shift differential is included.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Responsible for following the procedures to accurately pick and pack orders.

- For short periods of time the Associate will need to enter the -20c and the 5c environments to retrieve materials required for shipping.

- Shipping will be completed using SAP.

- Complete shipping documents for international shipments.

- Use of a manual pallet jack is required.

- Maintain the work area (i.e. restock shipping materials, keep the area clean and neat).

- Assist in loading truck at the end of the day.

- Additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand 6-7 hours
- Must be able to work in -20c environment for short periods of time

- Willing to learn how to drive a forklift and not afraid of height
- Experience handling dry ice is required
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Excel experience is preferred but not required
- SAP experience is preferred but not required- Willing to learn how to drive a forklift and not afraid of height
