Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care
Germantown MD

MUST:
Valid NP License in the state of Maryland
Carry own Nurse practitioner liability
Assisting with in office visits and vaccinations
Valid BLS
Strong EMR
Triage

Independent practitioner in ambulatory, acute, and long-term care settings as primary care provider.
Work autonomously and in coordination with other healthcare professionals.
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and health education and counseling.
Order, conduct, supervise, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests.
Prescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Help patients make better lifestyle and health choices.
