The HR Technology team is committed to enabling seamless, best in class experiences for our global workforce of 2,700 people in over 30 countries. Our team supports an integrated tech stack spanning Workday (Core HCM), Neeyamo (Payroll), Jobvite (career site, applicant tracking & candidate relationship management) as the core systems. Additionally, this team enables the use of all workforce and people data working towards a Unified Data Platform as the organizations single source of truth for people related data to power analytics, data science, and associated capabilities that empower us to shorten decisioning cycles through data informed action.


Core responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders across the People Team and I.T. to identify, plan, implement, and support technologies that enable business objectives across multi-year strategic plans.

  • This role and the HR Technology team provide day-to-day support in configurations, business processes, security, reporting, dashboards, and troubleshooting. As the leader of this team, you will partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders and refine our People data and processes for efficiency and ease of use.

  • This is both a strategic planning and a hands-on role leading multiple direct reports to oversee the delivery and administration of our systems. We envision the split is 35% planning and 65% configuration/coding.

    • Workday including modules such as Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Absence, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Performance

  • This role is also newly created, requiring a self-starter with the experience, aptitude, and attitude to build a first-ever strategic roadmap for HR technology at Meltwater.

  • Work with, develop and/or maintain other tools for the People Team:

    • Both SharePoint and GSuite applications

    • Tableau for data insights

    • CultureAmp for engagement data

    • Simpplr for intranet

  • Drive work planning & sequencing, resource & capacity planning.

  • Drive efforts for new technology selection including Build vs Buy assessment, development of RFI/RFP, review, and evaluation through to final recommendation in partnership with I.T. Architecture, Business Systems and the People Team.

  • Excel at storytelling to gain buy-in, support and adoption for projects and innovations

  • Over time, take ownership of key vendor relationships, including contract renewals, financial modeling & cost control mechanisms, partnering to drive key roadmap items and ensure that SLAs are met for all operational systems.

  • Champion a culture of high-performance by creating an inclusive culture that supports learning, encourages diversity of thought and brings a futurist/innovator's mindset to the team.

  • Keep abreast of technical innovation by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.


Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience enabling key business priorities through the successful delivery & support of technology, and 6+ years as a people leader overseeing a broad range of talent across multiple work locations.

  • Strong preference for those with experience leading a technology team responsible for implementing, enhancing, maintaining PaaS/SaaS-based Core HCM, Workforce Management, Time & Attendance/Payroll, Scheduling, incentive compensation or other people operations systems in a heavily integrated environment.

  • A strong understanding of modern data platform architecture to support data integrations, low-code app development & analytics use cases.

  • Experience in managing complex delivery initiatives in global companies.

  • Stakeholder, vendor and budget management expertise.

What Well Give You:

  • Competitive compensation - Salary for this position is $132,600-$175,500 per year. The company also offers for this position a 15% quarterly bonus [subject to the terms of the applicable bonus plan]
