We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Business Development and Account Management professional for Conquer Cancer's EveryGrant, an end-to-end white label solution that helps organizations develop and deliver grants programs that attract the brightest researchers and make a difference for people with cancer everywhere.

As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic plans for growth, operations, maintaining business relationships, and driving revenue generation.

This position is hybrid with a primary location in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EveryGrant's strategy for growth and utilization

  • Execute on specific individual revenue goals

  • Manage strategic partnerships, business contracts, collaborations and other relationships to maximize potential, align with Foundation goals, and ensure desired outcomes are achieved

  • Identify new opportunities and define requirements for engagement and customer success

  • Identify and evaluate new markets, partners, channels and customers

  • Oversee the lead management and interaction tracking process

  • Participate in collective operational planning across departments, develop new approaches to improve department capacity and performance, and identify and plan to meet under/unmet customer needs

  • Collaborate with Philanthropy, Corporate and Foundation fundraising teams to identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities and to ensure alignment and progress

  • Oversee the development of proposals and contracts for new opportunities and manage negotiations

  • Interact with customers as needed to ensure their needs are met in balance with the department's resources

  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research and identify trends and customer needs to develop new opportunities

  • Oversee a comprehensive training program and organize cross-functional training plans

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop product branding for EveryGrant

  • Support planning and prioritization discussions internally

  • Promote EveryGrant in a wide variety of settings - stakeholder discussions, conference and industry events, etc.

  • Represent the voice of the customer and provide information based on client feedback, market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry research

  • Maintain accurate account data in Stratus Live, Smartsheet, and/or CRM software

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience

  • 10 - 12 years of experience in a Business Development or Account Management role including strategy and implementation

  • 10 years knowledge and experience in healthcare

  • Proven experience in managing a sales team of at least 3 staff members

  • Business Development/Customer Engagement experience

  • Product Marketing experience

  • Market Research experienceHigh Profile Relationship/Partnership/Alliance Management experience

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Abilityto communicate and workeffectivelywith cross-organizational teams.
