About the Job:

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will function as the assistant supervisor for all technical, non-technical and compliance functions in the dispensary. Under the direction of the General Manager, the AGM provides effective leadership in order to ensure the customer experience exceeds expectations every day. The AGM works with the GM to execute sales strategies.

  • Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Consistently deliver the ultimate Liberty patient/customer experience in all facets from entry to exit using the WHOLE service standards
    • In the absence of the GM, resolve all team member- or patient-related conflicts and issues
    • Assist with coaching conversations, performance management, and professional development
    • Play a key role in the onboarding and training of new team members
    • Understand and support KPI performance and financial goals for successful company performance
    • Ensure store activities and staff are in compliance with each state's guidelines
    • Facilitate store inspections as needed
    • Assist with scheduling staff
    • Assist the GM and Market Director with product assortment, ordering, and scheduling third-party vendor days
    • Communicate effectively with the team on any promotions, pricing, and/or product changes
    • Maintain all confidential information according to company SOPs
    • Ensure product quality control is communicated in a timely manner, pulling all products that do not meet quality standards
    • Oversee inventory management to ensure inventory is consistently accurate, up to date, and that there is no loss or theft
    • Oversee cash handling and assist in maintaining organized financial logs required by state regulation and/or company SOP
    • Support team member training
    • Confirm that the physical environment is safe and sanitary, that all equipment is in good working order, and that all preventative maintenance is performed in a timely manner
    • Supervise on-line ordering program and delivery operations, as well as related staff
    • Supervise store opening and closing activities, including cash handling
    • Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) and/or Wellness Guide functions as needed
    • Oversee supply ordering Foster a workplace that upholds Holistic Industries' Values and Core Principals
    • Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from any member of management

About You:

General:

  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain marijuana work credentials

Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred
  • 1+ years of retail supervision
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced store environments
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is highly desirable

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • POS expertise
  • Inventory software and online retail ordering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
