Job Title: Pricing Analyst 
Full Time/Exempt
Location: Glen Burnie, MD 
Reports To: Director of Marketing 
 

Are you ready to step into a dynamic role where your analytical skills make a real impact? We're seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our vibrant team under the direct supervision of our esteemed Director of Marketing.
 

 Position Overview: As a Pricing Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate pricing data and contract information within our system. Your responsibilities will include entering quotes, analyzing their effectiveness, and ensuring seamless communication with various departments. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for numbers, you'll contribute to our company's profitability and growth.
 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and verify quotes promptly upon acceptance.
  • Distribute completed quotes to the Purchasing Department.
  • Confirm accuracy of data entered by field personnel.
  • Format contracts and create insightful spreadsheets for analysis.
  • Proactively notify stakeholders of approaching quote expirations.
  • Conduct thorough research and resolve discrepancies in quotes.
  • Identify lucrative opportunities with high-profit potential customers.
  • Evaluate market effectiveness and maintain competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with vendors to optimize pricing strategies.

 Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Executive office area as needed.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years' experience in pricing analysis.
  • Proficiency in PC, Windows, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues.
  • Ability to optimize pricing strategies for maximum profitability.
  • Proactive in disseminating information and following up with departments.
