Our group is responsible for providing organizations with the best security solution for their cloud environment, allowing for visibility, governance, and protection over their infrastructure, platforms, and application solutions. We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join a fast-paced team solving complex security and systems focused problems in the sovereign cloud security space. You will work closely with a distributed engineering team, product management, CXP (Customer Experience), and customers in addition to the central Azure organization leveraging the best platforms that Microsoft has to offer. ResponsibilitiesAble to conduct targeted Penetration testing, identifying known and unknown vulnerabilities and weaknesses, and, in collaboration with other penetration testing and red teams around the company, demonstrate the value of an "assume breach" mentality.Conduct ad hoc and prescriptive threat modeling and security reviews to identity vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the architecture of applications and servicesEmerging Threat and Vulnerability Research - You will have opportunities to identify and evaluate new areas for research, perform analysis into emerging threats, including proactive security research on the technologies that Azure and our customers utilize and depend on.A learning and sharing mindset along with drive to improve the existing state.Coordinate planning and execution with internal engineering teams, business partners and technical leaders across the divisionProactive identification and reduction of issues through design, testing, and implementation of custom tools / solutions.Ability to work as part of an on-call rotation and to contribute to multiple projects/demands simultaneously.Embody our culture and values.
