PRKK a wholly owned subsidiary of SPA, helps to ensure unity-of-effort in space operations support to theater warfighters, US government and civil agencies, and commercial and foreign partners.

SPA/PRKK has an immediate need for a highly qualified Mid Level Financial Management Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

PRKK, an SPA group is seeking a highly qualified and motivated journeyman financial management specialist to support the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC) which provides the Combatant Commands (COCOMs), U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), and the Joint Staff with effects-based, precision targeting options for selected networks and nodes in order to carry out the national security and military strategy of the United States during peace, crisis, and war. This position supports financial management for JWAC, which is located at the Naval Support Activity - South Potomac (NSA-SP) base located in Dahlgren, Virginia (VA). The successful qualified candidate shall provide financial management support to conduct financial planning and support activities for current and future programs in accordance with Federal, DoD, Air Force and JWAC laws regulations, policies, directives and instructions.

    Provide financial management support for budget planning, organizing and managing the program's spend plans for obligation and budget expenditure forecasts to meet OSD goals, budget execution, funding analysis and adjustment of JWAC financial programs.
  • Provide support to various financial management program actions and activities, monitoring and oversight, meetings, funds tracking, milestone planning, briefing preparation, staff coordination, cost risk management, and decision documents preparation.
  • Review current data management processes and tools, such as spend plans, financial system reporting, and internal and external financial execution status reports, and develop and implement solutions to improve data management and analysis capabilities, is desirable
  • Comply with all aspects of the Privacy Act (PA) and safeguarding of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in the execution of their duties.
  • Assist in spend plan preparation, funding coordination, and documentation of other financial analysis execution and analysis in the Financial Management Division.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • Greater than three (3) years relevant experience with DoD financial processes, procedures and functions.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products, to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficient with Excel in the use of Filters, Pivot Tables, Formulas; developing Excel Macros and database solutions is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Top Secret, SCI/SAP eligible clearance required (SSBI/Tier 5 within the last six years)
