We are seeking an Information Systems Lead to join our team in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. You will be responsible for planning and coordination of technology solutions to meet the contractual requirements for the government customer. You will lead a team of IT professionals, including computer systems admins, software developers, and database administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, and execute IT projects as defined in the scope.
  • Write, evaluate, and negotiate various system and software procurements.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior staff.
  • Oversee information system team, to include sys admins, developers, and DBAs.
  • Assist project teams in the implementation of other systems.
  • Work with technical resources to design, develop, test, and implement solutions.
  • Mentor and coach new team members and junior level staff.
  • Strategize and develop new tools and views in order to support the fast-changing needs of the business.
  • Participate in ETL and data modeling design planning sessions.
  • Report team and system progress regularly to key stakeholders and the rest of the organization.
  • Provide emergency or critical maintenance completed within approved time period.
  • Recognize opportunities to improve process efficiencies and implement them.
  • Provide input in designing end to end solution from a technical perspective.
  • Responsible for managing the planning and implementation of new and existing technologies as they relate to the core mission.
  • Manage any cyber security related activities associated with the systems being managed.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and/or work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years must be management experience
  • Experience with web application development projects, Adobe ColdFusion a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server version 2019 a plus.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required, or the ability to obtain. Preference will be given to those applicants with an active DoD Secret Clearance. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required.
  • A professional attitude regarding attention to detail, customer service, excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Experience in enterprise resource planning.
  • A collaborator and problem solver with an eye on continuous improvement.
  • Leadership skills and attention to detail.
