Job Description

A Senior Analyst for Finance Systems and Data Governance is a critical internal corporate role to support our business architecture and manage our governance framework over our corporate IT systems. This role will ensure that people, processes, procedures, and technology at ASM Research remain aligned with our Federal mission as well as develop and execute impactful strategies to exploit emerging & disruptive technologies and innovations to improve efficiency, insights, and experiences. The Senior Analyst - Financial Systems & Data Governance will primarily focus on proactively managing and governing corporate data and system integrations across our processing areas within our overall operating model with a strong emphasis on financial systems. Ability to report onsite in Fairfax VA HQ once per week strongly preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality and system integration standards across our enterprise.
  • Conduct operational control reviews, execute monitoring of key controls, develop, and implement process improvement activities to mature key IT system controls within the access management and reporting space.
  • Ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data practices, policies, and standards both at a technical and functional level.
  • Provide oversight to role-based user management of corporate IT systems.
  • Develop & maintain inventory and definitions of our corporate data and system integrations.
  • Lead continuous improvement opportunities and support business case development for enhancements to improve operating efficiency, insights for well informed decision making, and seamless digital employee experiences (DEX).
  • Converting business and leadership requirements into governance policies, functional specifications and technical implementations.
  • Review and process all master data and configuration changes in corporate systems
  • Maintain financial system test databases and manage all financial system upgrades to ensure functional integrity for all releases/updates.
  • Provide knowledge content for cross-business functional training.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Federal Government regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in Deltek Costpoint, Concur, and/or CostPoint Enterprise Reporting (CER).
  • 4+ years of experience performing IT Governance, Data Governance, or Master Data Management (MDM) duties.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintaining financial systems and interfaces in government contracting industry.
  • 1+ years of experience with Federal government contracting industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Highly Desired Attributes:

  • Experience with integrating data between financial, HR, and recruiting IT systems.
  • Experience involving data integration, ETL, APIs, application integration or Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).
  • Adaptability to a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong business acumen and results orientated.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work creatively, analytically, and independently.
  • Ability to lead defined initiatives, projects, or processes.
  • Ability to manage, delegate and leverage resources to accomplish objectives.
  • Power user skillset with Microsoft Office software (Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
