CDL Driver A

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is looking for a Class A CDL driver to join the team!

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused. The responsibilities will include handling local runs or offloads.

This position reports to the onsite Manager and is based in Glen Burnie, MD.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

  • Pick-up and delivery of hazardous and regulated medical waste with a sharp focus on customer service.
  • Understand and execute all required paperwork, including required driver's daily logs.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Show determination/eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices.
  • Occasional Overnights may be required (up to 2 nights a week).

Required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field
  • Self-motivated person with the desire to learn
  • Successful completion of OSHA/ DOT physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening
  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position
  • Experience with driving manual transmission

Preferred qualifications:

  • Completion of 40 Hour OSHA, CPR and First Aid Training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and computers.
  • Tanker Endorsement.
