Job Description

We have an opportunity for a ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our talented team. This is a 100% remote position. The architect shall lead the development of technical architecture, approach, design of the system as well as ensuring developers are building the application to standards. Also, leading the investigation of legacy system data, design new data models, develop the data migration plan and guide the data migration process. The candidate shall also consider all the requirements and implement a flexible and scalable data model that can accommodate future changes and growth of the data. This position requires a full-time commitment. Analyzes and evaluates business needs and translates those needs to the supported technology stack and technology architecture. Ensure and align organizational goals to deliver strategic technology solutions that achieve business objectives while also advancing and optimizing the capabilities of the overall enterprise ServiceNow architecture.

Responsibilities

    Providing technical leadership and mentoring, performing peer code reviews, and ensuring the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practices
  • Preparing and presenting client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
  • Translating business requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
  • Collaborating with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
  • Overseeing major version upgrades and installing patches
  • Designing and developing solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflows/flows, policies, actions, access control, interfaces and any other configurations required to support client processes
  • Providing advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
  • Providing operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS)
Qualifications
  • Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • A Master's degree in the related field and a minimum of 10+ years OR Bachelor's degree in related field and 12+ years of hands on experience as ServiceNow Architect
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V4 Managing Professional
  • Certified Enterprise Architect, ServiceNow Certified Master Architect, or ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
  • Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
  • Experience in ServiceNow Cloud Platforms and architecture. Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow architecture, supporting software engineering and to maximize data processing, systems, building cloud compatible services and architecture and in operating and delivering in an Enterprise IT lifecycle.
  • Experience designing and building cloud compatible, service oriented, highly scalable and web-enabled enterprise architecture.
  • Experience with continuous integration in and between ServiceNow modules and integrated applications.
  • 6+years of ServiceNow Development experience
  • Experience in Federal IT lifecycle management to include system security and auditing, data process and analytics, software development supporting methodologies and technology transitions.
  • Experience building and managing ServiceNow IT solutions which include integrating multiple ServiceNow or other cloud technologies.
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow integrations for Security, Risk and Compliance.
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow Customer Service with other supporting architectures and platforms.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow platform management, configuration management and implementation, custom development, infrastructure management and hosting; financial institution information technology security; and complying with Federal Government related rules and regulations, and industry standards
  • Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
  • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Experience with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Experience with custom REST/SOAP APIs (webservices)
  • Experience with interfacing with systems inbound/outbound
  • Experience with leading and managing developers
  • Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements including public trust clearance
  • Must pass a background check and drug test

Preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
