Job Description

Position Objective:

Overview: The Senior Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in the implementation, enhancement, and support of our HR information systems and related modules. As a crucial link between Human Resources, Finance, and IT, this individual contributes to the seamless integration of new systems, streamline processes, and lead various projects to enhance organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Integration and Implementation:
    • Actively participate in the implementation of new systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
    • Continuously review current system processes, identifying opportunities for streamlined processes.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate ad-hoc operational reports based on requests from management or the user community.
  1. Systems Support and Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to address system issues, maintenance, upgrades, or enhancements.
    • Lead testing efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
    • Perform day-to-day IT/IS support tasks as assigned.
  1. HR Module and Process Support:
    • Support HR, Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Time & Attendance, and Payroll modules and processes.
    • Perform system access control processes for HR and other ancillary systems.
    • Resolve complex issues and implement projects at an advanced technical level.
  1. Business Liaison and Project Leadership:
    • Serve as a liaison between Human Resources, Finance, IT, and other key business units.
    • Keep abreast of the latest information regarding products, promotions, and process/system changes.
    • Handle incoming/outgoing field inquiries/issues related to HR information systems, finance, and payroll.
    • Support and lead various projects, including system changes, acquisitions, and other initiatives.
    • Serve as a team leader on projects, establishing and communicating common goals and directions for the team.
    • Coordinate with key stakeholders to determine business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications.
  1. Documentation and Process Improvement:
    • Translate functional requirements into technical designs and document detailed technical specifications.
    • Track assignment progress against the established work plan and prepare status reports as defined by management.
    • Assist in the development of policies and procedures relating to application development.
    • Ensure change control, standards, and processes are adhered to.
    • Develop and design system requirements for business information systems.

Qualifications:

Basic Candidate Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of service experience within a hi-tech environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel a must) and the UKG product suite.
  • Advanced in-depth knowledge of SQL and BI Platforms.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; process-oriented and well-organized.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, driven by results, and thrives under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Initiative and sound judgment in various situations.
  • Familiarity with applications such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, UKG, PeopleFluent, Symplr product suite is a plus.

Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:

There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will be or will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.

Physical Demands - Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
