If you are graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information systems, Information Technology, or other related technical degree and want to work in developing solutions for communications and networking challenges, we would love to have you join our team!

We are seeking Communication Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Network Engineers, eager to learn new skills as you join a hardworking multi-disciplinary team responsible for problem solving, designing, and developing solutions for the Government. Our team is committed to performing networking systems engineering research, design, analysis, experimentation, and prototyping of wired, wireless, virtual, and space-based networks and networking technology! As a member of our team, you may be:
  • Researching solutions for secure communications in support of national security, or civilian and military healthcare.
  • Designing, developing, and testing software as part of user interfaces, network protocols, evaluation tools and more.
  • Developing wired and wireless Internet Protocol (IP) network technology, designs, and architectures.
  • Evaluating operational networks through experimentation, analysis, laboratory testing, and field testing activities, post-processing data, and presenting the findings to sponsors.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information systems, Information Technology or other related technical degree
  • Have experience writing software in Python, MATLAB or other programming languages.
  • Can work effectively both independently and in teams and possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and are ultimately able to obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

    Communication Systems Engineering:

    • Have exposure to principles of wired and wireless communications.
    • Have experience in communications systems, signal processing, modeling and simulation, evaluation or developmental testing

Software Development

    • Have an understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and software best practices.

Network Engineering

    • Have experience with setting up, and maintaining network environments.
    • Have knowledge of the data, network and transport layers of communication or networking systems, IPV4/6, TCP and other communication protocols.

  • Desire to design, integrate, and test RF technologies and systems in both laboratory and field test settings.
  • Hold an active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.

Communication Systems Engineering:

    • Have experience with or interest in Software Development or Network Engineering.
    • Are comfortable using RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, waveform generators, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
    • Work with technologies that may include, wired, wireless (RF & optical) links, line-of-sight (LOS) and beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) links, SATCOM, IP networking, RF systems, protocols, software defined radio (SDR), 5G (and beyond) cellular and cognitive radio.

Software Development

    • Have experience with or interest in Communication Systems Engineering or Network Engineering.
    • Strong understanding of modern software development practices and tools, including: version control systems, issue trackers, and test frameworks.
    • Have experience developing in in a Linux environment with several of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, C, Bash.

Network Engineering

    • Have experience with or interest in Communications Systems Engineering or Software Development.
    • Have experience building network testbeds, managing network environments, assessing network performance.
    • Have hands-on experience configuring switches and routers with a strong understanding of the protocols used to provide interconnectivity
    • Have experience configuring wireless networks (e.g., satellite communications, 4G/5G cellular, Wi-Fi).
    • Have experience working with network security appliances and software tools.
