Our team is in need of detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineers to contribute to sponsor missions. In this role, you will work with a dedicated team of professionals to provide full systems engineering support across the system development lifecycle including concept definition, requirements, architecture, design, development, integration, and testing.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, your primary responsibility will be:

  • Evaluating candidate cybersecurity solutions to meet requirements
  • Designing secure architectures
  • Aligning requirements and architecture to DoD and US Navy cybersecurity standards

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems Security or related field
  • Have 3+ years experience performing cybersecurity engineering tasks to include requirements definition
  • Are able to determine root cause analysis
  • Can demonstrate solid networking skills
  • Have hands-on experience with common cybersecurity tools
  • Are proficient with industry standard Model Based Systems Engineering tools
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills.
  • Have the ability to lead, work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Are familiar with DoD standards for Cybersecurity and Risk Management
  • Are willing to travel to and from sponsor and test sites up to 20% of the time
  • Hold an active Secret security clearance and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

  • Possess a MS or PhD: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems Security or related field
  • Have 5-10 years experience with US Navy Combat Systems, weapons, sensors, or other related operational military technology
  • Understand how to conduct Analysis of Alternatives to determine the most practical approach to engineering solutions
  • Have experience with embedded systems
  • Have previously written technical documentation
