Minimum Education
Master's - MS, PT - MTP, DPT or MOT, MSOT, OTD Required
Minimum Work Experience
5 years .- in an acute care setting with 3 of those 5 years in pediatrics. Required
3 years - supervisory/management experience- Preferred
Licensure Required
Physical Therapy - DC License Required - Upon Hire OR
Occupational Therapy - DC License Required - Upon Hire
Functional Accountabilities
Strategic Planning
- Contribute to the strategic plan for department services, include short-term and long-term objectives.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and evaluate service/department effectiveness.
- Collaborate with upper management to incorporate findings into plans of modifying program/ service delivery.
Program and Service Management
- Implement strategic plan through management of day-to-day operations of department, division or service area.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and develops action plans to resolve.
- Collaborate with upper management on significant operational issues/barriers.
- Ensure compliance with CNMC policies and procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Assist upper management in the development, implementation and evaluation of services, programs, policies and procedures, and performance standards to achieve departmental goals.
- Responsible for administering programs and services within budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborate with upper management to evaluate current as well as new program initiatives for effectiveness, feasibility and cost.
Human Resources Management
- Hire, train, develop and direct assigned staff to meet operational objectives.
- Provide timely coaching and performance feedback.
- Develop staffing plan/schedule and deploy staff appropriately to optimize productivity and ensure quality services.
Information Resources Management
- Proficient in the use of administrative and clinical information resources and decision-support tools.
- Proficient in compiling and analyzing data to support upper management decision-making.
