Full Time - Night Shift

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.

Unit Details:

The 6th floor is a fast-paced 41 private bed surgical unit specializing in orthopaedics. The unit is updated/modernized and is not only beautiful but provides a great working environment. Our team provides a multidisciplinary approach to meet our patients' needs. The surgical patient population we serve includes orthopaedic, urologic, endocrinologic, and colorectal. Our orthopaedic services include elective total joint replacement surgery as well as complex cervical and lumbar spinal surgeries. Our patients are cared for with the latest in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain relief modalities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • 2 year/ Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • 4 year/ Bachelor's Degree (BS in Nursing) Preferred


Certification/Licensure/Registration:

  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • State Registered Nurse License (Required)

Required Skills:

  • 1-2+ years of RN experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills, strong written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, general clerical skills, basic computer skills, excellent organizational skills, strong customer service skills, proven analytical skills
