Job Description

We are hiring a Fleet and Inventory Manager!

We are looking for a Fleet and Inventory Manager. This is an administrative and operational role that focuses on multiple facets of fleet management and the warehouse inventory of parts and tools. In this role you will check out the vehicles to our technicians, coordinate maintenance or repairs, and oversee general inventory of vehicles. This position does require being tech savvy!

FLEET AND INVENTORY MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs
  • Work with external vendors, including mechanics
  • Maintain inventory of parts and tools on the trucks and in the warehouse
  • Maintain a database of truck maintenance information
  • Coordinate and maintain with the technicians regarding the schedule
  • Assist with process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Keep track of toll passes issued

FLEET AND INVENTORY MANAGER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of experience in a fleet management required
  • Time-management and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with all Microsoft suite of products including Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum of 1yearof demonstrated experience in both warehousing and logistics
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent judgment, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains a positive and enthusiastic environment, even in adverse situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment as necessary.
  • Ability to maintain excellent public relations with external and internal customers.
  • Must be able to work extended hours to meet company goals.
