The Wills Group is seeking an entry-level Accounting Specialist to join the team!

The Accounting department provides service to The Wills Group, Inc. and its subsidiary corporations. The incumbent is to be knowledgeable of basic general ledger sources and the flow of accounting data. The position will also confirm asset invoice coding, prepare month end journal entries, maintain multiple reconciliations, set up and maintain construction in process projects, and perform special projects.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting or related field required
• 1+ years of broad-based accounting experience preferred
• 1+ years accounts payable experience preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify daily transaction counts entry
• Support monthly drafting of operators
• Support review of BOL & Freight data
• Perform various special projects, accounting and analytical work as assigned
• Work in a climate-controlled office environment using standard office equipment including telephone, calculator, photocopy machine and PC computer, with the ability to utilize server applications.
